What is Amado’s true purpose in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations?

Amado Sanzu is one of the most talked-about characters in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga series from creator Masashi Kishimoto and artist Mikio Ikemoto, and it’s easy to see why: the former Inner of the Kara organization and the head of the research and development department has already made it clear that he has his own motives, which are probably tensions with Boruto, Naruto, Kawaki and other ninjas in Konohagakure.

Like the other members of Kara, Amado’s loyalty to the evil organization was purely out of self-interest, expecting to get something important for his services. He would remind Game of Thrones fans of Petyr Baelish (Littlefinger) for his mysterious motives and cunning intelligence. Even after he defected to Konoha, Amado continued to be a schemer, once again applying Karma to Kawaki without anyone’s permission or knowledge, as well as a unique emergency stop command that only he can use.

But what is Amado’s ultimate goal? Why does he need Kawaki to achieve it? Let’s take a deep dive into the character’s motives.

Amado Boruto

The manga series established that Amado would destroy the entire Otsutsuki clan, whose actions he considers parasitic. Ever since Shikimaru has allied with Konoha, he has been very suspicious of Amado, and it’s easy to see why. The scientist keeps his intentions mysterious at all times and is complicit in the many atrocities committed by Kara, including the death of numerous shinobi and the manipulation of Dr. katasuke.

Amado swears that his intentions were only to protect the world from Isshiki, and he had no choice but to play along as a loyal Kara member until the attack arrived, but several clues suggested he has a hidden agenda.

boruto Chapter 71 already revealed that Amado planted something different on Kawaki than Karma. Surviving Code’s attempts to kill Amado now that the villain’s limits have been lifted, Amado tells Ada that Kawaki is the “ace up my sleeve”.

“Kawaki has regained Karma while inheriting Isshiki’s skills,” he reveals. “His power will likely continue to grow, and right now there is no one in Konoha who can oppose Kawaki’s power, including the Hokage, except me.”

Amado then reveals that he has also planted a unique emergency stop code in Kawaki that only he can use. He goes on to explain: “It is Konoha’s job to manage Kawaki, but this also applies to the other villages. So he is Konoha’s number one priority. This means that they all have no choice but to rely on me.”

However, Amado says the emergency stop code is “just insurance” to protect his position in the village, and that his “real purpose is different”.

When Ada demands Amado spill it, Amado just tells her he will talk, but “it’s a long story”, and it’s something he needs to tell Konoha too, so he asks Ada to wait until they get back there .

For now, manga readers will have to wait. Hopefully, Boruto Chapter 72coming out in August will give us more answers.

Is Amado’s ultimate goal connected to Ada or his daughter?

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations has already revealed that Amado had a daughter who died twelve years before Isshiki’s attack on Konoha, so is he planning to revive his daughter?

One of the hottest theories discussed in the Naruto fan community is the theory claiming that the clairvoyant cyborg Ada is the real daughter of Amado. used to bebut at the moment there is no evidence strongly proving this to be the case.

In the last shot of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 68, Amado is clearly shocked to see Ada’s surprise entrance after Code infiltrates Konoha. This could mean that Amado is her blood relative.

This is all speculation for now, so fans will have to wait to find out Amado’s ultimate goal.
