Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween, the brand new movie based on this onethe case closed (Detective Conan) anime series, will have its opening premiere in Japan this week.
TMS Entertainment Co., Ltd. announced that: Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween was set to premiere nationwide in Japan on April 15. The upcoming movie will be the 25th movie installment based on the Case Closed (Detective Conan) anime series. The film will be set in Shibuya, a certain district or town in Tokyo, Japan. The new film will be during the Halloween season and will feature a recreation of Shibuya’s famous existing cityscapes.

The Case Closed (Detective Conan) anime is based on the long-running manga series created by Gosho Aoyama. The series focuses on a high school detective named Shinichi Kudo. While investigating the mysterious Black Organization, he encounters two of their members. They force him to ingest a deadly poison.
However, instead of dying, Kudo shrinks into a child. Kudo takes on a new identity under the pseudonym Conan Edogawa to hide his identity. Kudo solves numerous cases throughout the series by pretending to be the father of his best friend and other characters. The manga first appeared on January 19, 1994 and currently has 101 volumes.
