How do people get Aimbot for Fortnite? A look at the forbidden cheat

It’s not a new thing to see players using aimbot software in Fortnite. It has been around since the early days of the game and has allowed users to gain the upper hand in battles. One of the most famous examples of players using this exploit is FaZe Jarvis.

While he claims he only used the software to try it out in-game, Epic Games was unwilling to listen and dropped the permanent ban hammer on him. However, that doesn’t stop others from using pirated third-party software.

Even in early 2022, several users complained of encountering players using in-game aimbot software. Some have even gone a step further and posted videos of the same on social media.

That said, you must be wondering how people get aimbot hacks for Fortnite. Do they buy the software from the dark web or do they write the script themselves? This article takes a look at the world of third-party hacks.

Getting aimbot hacks in Fortnite is easier than you can imagine

However, this does not mean that Epic Games cannot track down the user. As soon as several players make a report, the support team comes into action. On many occasions, those caught using aimbot hacks have been banned mid-game.

With content creators doing their part and supporting the banning of cheaters, most users caught using third-party software are permanently banned. That said, it is not always easy to know if the player is cheating or not.

Soft Aim is harder to detect in Fortnite

Unlike aimbot software, which helps users track their opponents through walls and anything else that gets in their way, Soft Aim is a bit more toned down. Instead of constantly tracking opponents in combat, Soft Aim allows users to aim only when targets are in the open.

With software that mimics the skills of professional players, it is more difficult to detect this pirated third-party software in Fortnite. This doesn’t mean they get a free pass and won’t get banned, it just means they take longer to get banned.

In short, using aimbot software in Fortnite is possible, but the consequences are serious. Players will be permanently banned and lose access to their account. If they have cosmetics or V-Bucks, they will all be forfeited.

To make matters worse, Epic Games is implementing IP bans. This means that even if players create a new account to play Fortnite, they will not be able to access the game. However, that’s not the only thing to worry about with third-party software. There are worse things that could happen than getting banned from Epic Games.

Malware, Trojan horses and other nasty digital viruses

Regardless of what “trusted sellers” say, aimbot software or other third party hacking tools are not safe. It’s not a good idea to download anything from random sources to a computer. Like skin changer apps for Fortnite, many of these third-party software contain malware and trojans.

But since users are determined to be the best in-game, they ignore the red flags and use the software without a second thought. While not all cheats/hacks contain nasty digital viruses, most do. Instead of paying money to acquire divine skills in Fortnite, players will end up having their system hacked.

That said, it’s best to avoid hacks or cheats in Fortnite. Epic Games is constantly updating their anti-cheating software and any third party software used for cheating/hacking will eventually become unusable.

To put it bluntly, the resources that the developers can afford to improve their anti-cheat cannot be matched by individuals who create hacks/cheats. In this digital arms race, it’s important to stay ahead, and Epic Games intends to do just that.

Cronus Zen, Cronus Max AND similar hardware are now BANNABLE!

With devices like Cronus Zen banned, it’s only a matter of time before they fix the Soft Aim problem as well. But all things considered, as it stands, it’s very rare these days to come across a cheater or someone using aimbot software in Fortnite.

Hopefully it stays that way and the game stays free of such incidents in the future. With the player base growing exponentially, in-game cheaters will force new players to migrate to other BRs, such as the recently released Warzone 2. This will directly impact Epic Games’ revenues in the short and long term.
