Boruto Chapter 69

Update:Now the new chapter of boruto is out, and it is shows the power of Eida’s powerful ability. You can read more details below:

Eida joins the fray and Amado and Shikimary look momentarily shocked to see her. Eida tells Amado that he has the same old stupid reactions, and Shikimaru thinks Amado’s terror is more than abnormal.

Delta or “Bronco” attacks Eida, and the clairvoyant android dodges easily, and Delta wonders how to dodge her attack.

Eida touches her leg and she says, “This leg too”. Wood emerges from Delta’s body and Shikimaru wonders what Delta is doing. Delta is also wondering. Shikimaru wonders what kind of creature Eida is, and he calls Ino to tell her they need backup.

Meanwhile, Sasuke asks for Boruto’s forgiveness for not being there while Momoshiki took over his body. Boruto asks if Sasuke heard that Kawaki killed him, and Sasuke says only a select few know. Boruto says he was the one who asked Kawaki to kill him. Sasuk says that whoever is despised killed the Hokage’s son, and that more prejudice is bound to accumulate.

Boruto says that’s just wrong, since he’s still alive. He says they recognize each other as brothers. He says that Kawaki understood his decision, and Sasuke looks pensive as he says, “Brothers, huh”.

Boruto smiles and tries to return the headband to Sasuk, thanking him for helping him stick to his resolve. Sasuke says that because it is useful, Boruto should keep it because it is a gift. Boruto asks if he is sure of that, as it is a memento between his father and Sasuke.

Sasuke tells Boruto to hold it and that he will cherish it for the rest of his life. Boruto thanks him again. Sasuk says he may be the one who will have to show his determination next.

Sarada and Mitsuki wonder what Boruto and Sasuke are talking about. Mitsuki says that if things went wrong, Boruto would be dead, and he thinks Sasuke feels guilty for being his teacher. It seems Mitsuki is speaking Sasuke’s mind, saying that assuming someone kills Boruto, he wouldn’t know what to do with that person. He says he certainly does, and the thought that Boruto could have died gives him chills. Sarada wonders what Mitsuki is talking about, and Mitsuki apologizes because that seemed distressed.

Sarada says she is starting to feel angrier and angrier, and that she is shocked by everything that has happened to Boruto. She asks if they are really that unreliable, and says she wants to be able to help more. Mitsuki asks if she likes Boruto, and Sarada nervously says, “Wha?”.

Sarada says whether she does it or not, it has nothing to do with what they’re talking about. Mitsuki says he wonders if her true feelings are hard to tell, then says he guesses it doesn’t matter. She says that Sasuke is her father first, more so than Boruto’s teacher.

Mitsuki says that they both need to grow stronger, and that they will need equal strength and determination to face the mighty Ohtsutsuki. Sarada says that’s a good idea, otherwise she’s not fit to be a Hokage, otherwise.

Kawaki wakes up in the hospital bed and Naruto greets him and tells him he slept well. Naruto says this reminds him of the first time they met. Kawaki asks if he came to tell him about stupid old memories, and Naruto asks Sumire to give them a moment, and she apologizes and tries to leave, but before she can leave, Kawaki asks if Naruto is going to sentence him for killing Boruto.

Sumire looks surprised to hear that, and Naruto tells Kawaki to relax because Boruto is okay, and Kawaki looks surprised. Naruto explains that Boruto’s Karma power saved him, and to cut the long story short, he’s alive.

Sumire wonders what she heard. Naruto says that if it wasn’t for Kawaki, they could all have died, so he’s grateful. Naruto tells Kawaki that, as he said earlier, he belongs in Konoha, nowhere else. The Hokage says everyone in Konoha is family to him.

Suddenly someone telepathically calls Naruto’s name and he looks concerned. Sasuke also hears that there is an enemy attack in Lab 3. Sasuke says the enemy is there and tells Boruto to go. Sumire asks if Boruto is okay, and he says he is okay.

Back to Lab 3: Shikimaru tries to use his shadow power to paralyze Eida, but Eida just stares at him, and she says there’s no way he can attack her, and wonders how he can do that, but soon realizes it’s because the jutsu doesn’t do direct damage.

Shikimaru Boruto

Eida says that Shikimaru’s ability is astonishing and that this is the first time she has been affected like this. Shikimaru looks concerned and wonders what the hell she is. He feels like he has a weird fever, and Delta lies on the floor, looking shocked.

In his mind, Shikimaru asks Ino to link his mind to Amado’s so that they can communicate telepathically. He tells Amado not to get anything out of it no matter what, then asks what skill they are stuck with and how to counteract this.

Amado says that to sum it all up: they are all her prisoners now, and Shikimaru asks what he means. She enchants them on an intuitive, unconscious level, regardless of their gender, even Delta, and that no one can escape her ability.

Delta seems in love and says she thinks Eida is so cute. Shikimaru asks how that is even possible. Shikimaru asks Amado if he is joking, and how is that possible.

Amado mentions headaches, dizziness, impaired judgment, stiff muscles from extreme tension, different people get different symptoms and that some simple types like Delta just fall in love. Eida says that once they are enchanted by her power, it will last until she dies, and she cannot control this power.

Amado tells him that Shikimaru could try, but it would be futile to resist her.

Shikimaru thinks his shadow possession jutsu will no longer last. Eida just tells him to relax and not to push too hard. Eida says his willpower is incredible, and she wants to encourage him instead when she looks at him.

Shikimaru clutches a kunai, but his body won’t move. Amado tells him that even if he wants to kill him in his head, his instincts will reject that thought. Amado tells him to stop fighting or it will damage his mind.

Shikimaru thinks this is unbelievable and that Naruto and Sasuke won’t stand a chance against her.

Code Boruto

Code approaches Amado, grabs him against the wall and asks him to obey so he doesn’t get hurt. Code uses a claw to pierce Amado’s shoulder blade and Amado screams in pain.

Code asks if there are many nerves coming together, and if it hurts. Shikimaru asks Eida what her motive is and why she is helping Code.

Eida says Code’s motive is personal to him, revealing that she likes Kawaki. Shikimaru looks surprised. Eida says she’s just getting help from Code in that regard

Shikimaru telepathically tells Ino that he has changed his mind and that he now needs to change the code to unlock the lock for the lab door. He tells her that the enemy has a tricky skill and that he doesn’t want Naruto and the others to come in. Ino is surprised by his request, but he orders her to just do it.

Shikimaru tells Eida that he has a proposition for her: “Aren’t you coming to Konoha? I believe we can mutually help each other, and then you can tell Kawaki how you feel or whatever you want.”

Eida looks thoughtful and Code asks, “What?!” while Amado is still standing against the wall.

The next chapter will most likely show Eida’s internal conflict as Naruto, Boruto, Sasuke and other ninjas from Konoha try to get into the lab. It’s likely we’ll see more of Eida’s powers and Code trying to get Eida to focus on their mission.
